Pastors/ Ministers do not exist on a level above human condition. When members of a church are struggling with life issues we expect them to get help, because we know that if their conditions continue unresolved, it may lead to more serious condition. So why should it be any difference for pastors/ministers?

The pastoral care must not be ignored or neglected. 1 Thessalonians 5:12; “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you”. Pastoral care must be seen as an essential responsibility of the church.

Do not demand more from your pastors than he can give. They are human that can’t please everyone, and sometimes the person they want to please may not be you.  They need our prayers and encouragement as much as you need theirs.

Hebrews 13: 17; “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account”

As we know that a tree does not make a forest, I would like to thank everyone in the pastoral care department. God will reward you abundantly.
