I’m looking for a church in Maryland. What can I expect if I come to CAC House of Praise?
You can expect a casual atmosphere and friendly faces. Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus, so we hope that from the minute you enter the premises, you feel like family.
Where do I park?
Our parking volunteers will gladly direct you to a parking space.
What do I need to know before I go in?
As you walk toward the building, one of the first things you’ll see is a Guest Services kiosk. The folks at the kiosks will answer your questions and direct you to the right place.
Once inside, what do I do with my children?
We have classes at for all age groups from Kindergaten to Teenagers If you have children you’d like to check in to class, Guest Services volunteers will direct you to the children’s area, where another volunteer will help you sign in your kids and get them to their proper classrooms. Your children will enjoy a lesson, music, crafts, and more–all geared specifically to their age group.
Then what do I do?
After dropping off your kids, you’ll head into the auditorium. Someone will hand you a program at the door with information on the church and on our upcoming events. Feel free to ask them any questions. They are there to help.
Am I allowed to bring food into church?
No, as one of our santuary rules we do not permit eating in the sanctuary.
Do I need to dress up?
No. Get on your comfortable clothes, come in with faith, and come join us soon.
What is the worship service like?
Our services always feature energetic worship music and a relevant message. Plus, there are always special surprises with a lot of humor. We hope this is a time where you feel comfortable and can easily connect with God.
What happens after the service?
Oh, and don’t forget your kids! You can pick them up from the classroom where you dropped them off.
